Yesterday, I spent the day on a live zoom call with Matthew Mcconaughey, Marie Forleo, Trent Shelton, Dean Grazioso, Tony Robbins and thousands of my closest “friends.” It was a really cool seminar entitled “The Art of Livin‘” and I’m grateful I invested the time (6.5 hours!). If you know me, you can just imagine how many pages of notes I have. Some of my favorite thoughts to ponder:
“Is your perspective your prison? Or your power?”
“Small mindsets can’t comprehend big vision.”
“You are custom-made.”
“I don’t do ______________” (Fill in the blank: overwhelm, procrastination, debt, etc.)
“There is an art to livin’…look for the green lights. No one is going to save us.”
“What is something you are afraid to start, continue or finish?”
“Walking in others’ shoes doesn’t mean we can’t wear our own shoes.”
“Trust and faith in your fellow man has no equal.”
“What do you choose to tell yourself?”
“You can change your whole life with 1/2 inch.”
“Inspiration is temporary. We need transformation.”
“Potential is pointless if it’s never met.”
“Broken crayons still color the same. Speak life into your life.”
“Rejection is just redirection for what God has in store for your life.”
“Don’t die a watcher–get into the game.”
I missed my opportunity to speak with them personally…but by the time the Q and A came around… I was getting my hair done. (And realized my camera was still on! ). We do, after all, have a wedding next week!
And PS – if you haven’t read Matthew McConaughey’s book, “Greenlights,” what are you waiting for?
