WHO ARE WE?
Hi! We are The Kerr Clan — A sports-loving, dream-chasing, chaos-embracing, law enforcement family of 8. We like health and fitness almost as much as pizza and treats. Photography, sunsets, and vacations rank right up there with faith, freedom and family. Our labs, Ripley & Cruz (a pandemic decision), Midnight (our black cat) and a no-name turtle are along for the ride.
Life can get crazy! And because it can get so crazy, we’ve decided to just look for the good in the midst of the crazy. We are super happy you are here.
HOW MANY KIDS?
With kids ranging in age from 7-23, (and yes! They all have the same two parents!), we’ve had a little bit of experience with all stages of parenting. From miscarriage, to infertility, to pregnancy, to newborn, to toddler, to teen, to young adult, we’ve had lots of opportunities to make plenty of mistakes. (And since we are about to enter a brand new stage –the ‘in-law’ stage– we are praying we don’t make too many mistakes in this area!)
WHAT IS OUR PROFESSION?
As a law enforcement family for 20+ years, we are well-accustomed to eating without dad, celebrating birthdays/holidays on different days – and going to the movies in the middle of the week if that is what schedules allow. We’ve had lots of side-gigs along the way but being a police officer (in a world that often doesn’t like law enforcement) has paid most of the bills.
WHAT ELSE?
We know what it’s like to budget and given our endless home projects, it’s just a shame we don’t own stock in Home Depot. And, it’s probably fair to say that our family was a major contributor our dentist’s brand-new state-of-the-art building! (Can you say 6-year-old root canal?)
Multiple sports (as participants AND attendees), combined with church activities, volunteerism and entrepreneurial pursuits, keep us busy– as does scrolling Facebook and TikTok, of course.
So many things and so many life lessons we are learning along the way.

All we ever hope for is to know is that we are somewhat normal (whatever that means)- so if you can relate to life being Somewhere Between Order and Chaos – you’ve come to the right place.
